Found this in an old 1885 lighting/electric products catalog--thought you'd find it of interest

Great find. 1885. I'm sure it didn't look like that Currier and Ives engraving they plagiarize to advertise the thing, though. :-)

What I loved most about it were all the details. Wish there was a REAL illustration though!

Betcha the printer just used a block (the Currier & Ives engraving) he had left over from something else, since there wasn't time or money to make a new engraving. Lots difference from snapping a photo with your I-phone and posting it on the internet 5 minutes later. :-)
