The Flyer steeple-cabs were nice, entry-level locomotives sold by Flyer following the First World War. I had a Flyer 1201 here which had been refurbished by a previous owner. They had done an outstanding job on it, to a point I was unsure if the finish was original or not. It was equipped with the rare square headlamp, one of the few I have ever seen:

I eventually sent it to a guy I know who is a big collector of prewar Flyer gear. It now sits in his collection.
